LOST * Vilcek Foundation Exhibition Booklet * NYC Rare 2010 Mint New Condition. Original Very Limited Edition Exhibition Booklet of the LOST Exhibit held in New York City's upper East Side by the Vilcek Foundation , printed exclusively for the exhibit and not in print. Description : This unusual one-time exhibit showcases rare artifacts. photographs and props from the show's set, including the iconic Dharma jumpsuits, hydrogen bomb, the baby blue VW Bus with it's Coke Cans, the Connect Four game, and a giant log suspended from the ceiling as well as many other unique and confounding artifacts from the hit show. “Do you know how difficult it is to get a package labeled “hydrogen bomb” into Manhattan?” exhibit director Kinsel said. The foundation left plenty of time -– four weeks –- to get the proper permits for transporting the props from Hawaii to New York City. Rare photographs of the show’s immigrant and first-generation American talent, both in front of and behind the camera, round out the large exhibit. Pictures of lead painter Chris Barnes, executive producer Carlton Cuse and actors Daniel Dae Kim and Jorge Garcia (aka Hurley), who was in attendance for the opening, among other talent from the show, adorn the exhibit walls. The show might take place on a desert island, but, says the foundation, it also functions as a metaphorical Ellis Island, bringing together talent from across the globe. The exhibit is filled with strange island artifacts, as well as photographs and biographical profiles of immigrant and first-generation American members of LOST (The Vilcek Foundation honors foreign born artists who have contributed to society). This Rare Exhibit Booklet is 64 pages(including front & back cover) and measures 9''inches wide x 6"inches high. Beautifully printed in vivid saturated color it contains both essays about the shows international appeal and impact, as well as rare photographs of the show's cast and crew.
