A Classic Vintage Liz Claiborne Victorian Women's Long-Length Black Wool Opera Style Coat (also sometimes referred to as a "Long Coat" or "Riding Coat"), elegant Victorian style with 6 ornate front brass buttons (see detailed pictures), 2 side slit exterior pockets and plush black Velvet Collar. Excellent quality wool (using a light-weight "soft to the touch" spun wool) in perfect Mint Condition, this beautiful long coat is lined with soft black satin through-out the coat and within the sleeves (all the way down the sleeves to the cuffs) and satin lined in the 2 exterior side pockets too. Front button down double-breasted style (3 buttons and stitched eye-lets, and 3 decorative ornate brass buttons). 2 fairly deep slant-cut front exterior hip side pockets. Beautiful stitching and detail, and designed with subtle pleating along both front and back bottom of coat, with detailed stitching along the back middle of coat. Has a very subtle 19" inch long hidden slit to the back of coat for ease of movement.
