Since 1893 both Victorinox and Wenger have supplied the Swiss Army with their famous Swiss Army Knives. In 2005, Victorinox bought the famed Wenger Company, and then in 2013 discontinued the Wenger brand of Swiss Army Knives. The original Wenger factory in Delemont, Switzerland (now under the name Victorinox) does still produces some of their current popular Swiss Army knives (Evolution series etc), however they are now branded as Victorinox Delemont with the Victorinox Logo Shield Emblem. Nowadays it has become increasingly more difficult to find the original Wenger Swiss Army Knife models with the original Wenger Red Cross Badge(logo) Emblem on the knife's handle scales ..especially in pristine condition, as most all of these original Wenger models have, alas, been discontinued never to be produced again. Currently the only Swiss Army Knives available at retail for lovers of the Wenger line are the newer contemporary Victorinox Delemont "Evolution" series (that were once exclusively Wenger Evolution knives) but now unfortunately (since the Victorinox take-over of Wenger) these are only produced with a completely different and distinctive Victorinox Cross Logo Emblem.
This ORIGINAL Wenger Cigar Cutter Pocket Knife (Multi-tool) is an 85mm Original Wenger model and has the ORIGINAL Wenger Red Cross Badge (logo) Emblem, as well as the authentic Wenger Delemont Stamp on the Large Drop Point Blade. This Original Wenger Swiss Army Knife Model (No. 16881) is: 3.25" inches in the closed position.

Solid Red (both front and back knife scales are in excellent condition and have seen very little use with minimal wear/light scratches) with the original Wenger Red Cross Badge(logo) Emblem in Perfect Condition. Very gently used & very well taken care of (only sat on collector's shelf as a display knife, never carried or used). A retired collectible in Mint Condition, quite difficult to find, especially in excellent condition like this. If ever there was a Rolls Royce of Swiss Army knives, the Wenger Cigar cutter would be it, it’s elegant, robust and yet refined and designed for the great pleasures of life.
